Shigehisa Nagamatsu

Shigehisa Nagamatsu is the Representative Director of Jinzai Ikusei JAPAN. He was born in Nakatsu, Oita Prefecture (Kyushu). He began selling takoyaki out of a tiny shop in 2001, eventually opening in 2003 a popular restaurant called “Dining Hinata-ya” that attracted customers from surrounding prefectures. His experience gave him a unique take on human resources development: “It’s not about assembling top personnel, it’s about turning who you have into top personnel.” He details this concept in the many lectures and seminars he provides. Nagamatsu has garnered massive support from those in their  20s and 30s as this generation’s leader in explaining the foundations of true existence. Some 400,000 people have attended his talks. Nagamatsu was the top-selling author in the business category in 2020.
