Do you know when we get sick? It sounds like an offhand question, but from a medical point of view, it's actually an extremely deep and complicated issue. Once you know the answer to this question you will also be able to understand the most effective health management method to avoid getting sick.
Keio University School of Medicine Professor Hiroshi Ito found the answer to this question using the latest medical information. He says that sickness comes about when the organs are exhausted.
The organs in the body include the heart, the lungs, the liver, and the kidneys. Each organ has a lifespan or a fixed amount of time during which it works properly. Once this time runs out, the organ immediately stops functioning properly and it ends up affecting our health.
However, you don't have to be afraid of this. Rather, the good news is that if you have a lifestyle that slows down the aging process of the organs, you won't get sick. You will notice an effect on your health, beauty, and even your diet when you follow this easily applicable lifestyle. It's the ultimate health management method. Get started by trying out 10 simple steps and learning lifelong healthy habits.

A word from the editor:
I've never struggled to work on a book as much as I did on this one. One day, just after I received the manuscript from Dr. Ito, I suddenly fell sick and went to the hospital, and I was immediately admitted. While I was in the hospital, my boss asked me if there was anything I wanted him to do, and the first thing I said was, "Please bring me Dr. Ito's manuscript." Even when I was hospitalized, this book was the one thing that I wanted to get done, and I myself was looking forward to reading it.
Dr. Ito is a leading figure in metabolic domino research at Keio University's School of Medicine. He is world-renowned and highly regarded as this generation's "organ doctor." Many of his valuable insights are quoted in different fields. The painstaking effort put into this book has finally taken shape and it's now available. I'm really happy about it, and I encourage people to read it.
Author:Dr. Hiroshi Ito
Dr. Hiroshi Ito is a professor at the Keio University School of Medicine. Born in Kyoto, he graduated from the Kyoto University School of Medicine in 1983 and then went on to pursue a doctorate in medicine at the same school. He worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard and Stanford. He then became an assistant professor at Kyoto University in 2006 and has been there since. Dr. Ito is the quintessential "organ professional," specializing in high blood pressure, diabetic vascular complications, tissue engineering, anti-aging research, and numerous other fields. Recently, in particular, he stirred the medical world when he proposed the metabolic domino effect, which reveals the relationship between metabolic syndrome and lifestyle-related illnesses-- heart disease, kidney disease and stroke.
As the leading figure in metabolic domino research, he has emphasized the importance of early treatment for metabolic syndrome and also promoted the medical examination of the condition, thereby alleviating the effects of lifestyle-related diseases for many people. So far, he has examined over 10,000 patients, and he has also received numerous awards, including the Jokichi Takamine Young Investigator Award. He is the author of several books, including Youthful Organs (Asahi Shimbun Publications).
